  • We deeply value and respect our clients as the ultimate authority in their lives. We believe that our clients have an innate ability to heal and grow, and as coaches, we are simply there to serve as guides and partners in their journey toward personal development. We understand that every individual is unique and has challenges and goals, so we adopt a do-with approach in our coach-and-client relationship rather than a do-for approach. This means we work collaboratively with our clients rather than dictating what they should or should not do.

  • Life coaches and licensed therapists work to support individuals in improving their well-being; however, the two professions differ in their approaches and areas of focus. Licensed therapists are trained mental health professionals who work with individuals to address mental and emotional challenges, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction. They often use evidence-based therapies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or psychoanalysis, to help clients overcome these challenges.

    Life coaches focus on supporting individuals in achieving greater balance and well-being in all aspects of their lives, including physical health, relationships, career, and personal growth. We often use a more holistic approach, incorporating mindfulness, nutrition, and exercise practices to help clients achieve their goals. A coach can also help you identify and overcome limiting beliefs or behaviors that may hold you back from achieving your goals.

    Another key difference between coaching and counseling/therapy is that coaching is explicitly action-based, whereas counseling and therapy are often talk-based. Counseling and therapy often involve more talk-based approaches, such as exploring past experiences or examining emotional and behavioral patterns. While therapy can certainly help individuals gain insight into their lives and develop coping skills, the expectation for change is not always present.

    In coaching, the focus is on identifying specific goals and taking action to achieve them. Coaches work with clients to develop a plan of action, set milestones, and provide support and accountability to help clients stay on track. The expectation is always that clients will take action to change their lives and achieve their goals.

    It is important to note that both coaching and counseling/therapy can be valuable tools for personal growth and development. Depending on your needs and goals, one approach may be more appropriate. Many of our clients have a therapist and a coach. Coaching may be the right choice if you want to make concrete changes in your life and take action. Ultimately, the decision to work with a coach depends on your unique needs and goals.

In addition to their certification, each coach has expertise in other areas such as nutrition, fitness, mental health, and spiritual wellness.

  • While we do not accept insurance, our fee structure is designed to be affordable and flexible, so that clients can receive the support they need to achieve their wellness goals. We believe in transparency when it comes to our fees and terms, and we are happy to answer any questions or concerns that our clients may have.

    Our coaching fees reflect the level of expertise and personalized attention that our coaches provide, as well as the time and resources required to support our clients in achieving their wellness goals. We are committed to working with our clients to find a fee structure that meets their needs and budget, and we are always open to discussing alternative payment options.

    We believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality integrative wellness coaching, regardless of their financial situation. To make our coaching services as accessible as possible, we offer a sliding scale fee structure based on income, as well as discounted rates for students. We also encourage clients to use their Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) to pay for coaching services.
