What We've Been Up To: Strengthening Communities
B. Well Family,
One of my greatest joys is taking the work of wellness beyond my coaching office and into communities where transformation begins.
Over the past 2 months, I've had the privilege of serving in two spaces that reminded me why I do this work: investing in folks who want to be well.
Rise Up, Queens Leadership Conference
It was an absolute honor to serve as a speaker at the inaugural Rise Up, Queens Leadership Conference, where I had the opportunity to pour into an incredible group of young women preparing to become tomorrow's leaders.
We talked about confidence, identity, emotional wellness, and leading from a place of authenticity rather than comparison. Leadership isn't something we suddenly develop as adults—it begins with the beliefs we cultivate in ourselves today. Every girl deserves adults who remind her that her voice matters, her story has value, and she is capable of extraordinary things. If even one young woman walked away believing that a little more deeply, then it was a successful day.
North Carolina Fatherhood Conference
I presented at the North Carolina Fatherhood Conference, where I spoke with fathers and professionals about one of my favorite topics—healthy relationships.
Strong families require emotionally healthy adults. Fathers who are emotionally present, self-aware, and equipped with healthy relationship skills don't just change their own lives—they change generations.
It was encouraging to see so many men committed to becoming better partners, better fathers, and better leaders in their homes and communities. Conversations like these give me tremendous hope for the future of our families.
The Pave Leadership Academy
B. Well recently brought its signature approach to wellness and leadership development to the three-day PAVE Leadership Academy in Atlanta. Led by Dr. Pinkney, the experience created a supportive and engaging space where participants could explore who they are, strengthen their voices and begin envisioning the women and leaders they want to become.
Through interactive conversations and activities focused on identity, confidence, healthy friendships, communication, goal-setting and college and career exploration, she encouraged each young woman to recognize her value, trust her voice and lead with purpose.
RDU National Black MBA: Leaders of Tomorrow
Dr. Pinkney recently served as a judge for business presentations delivered by students in the Leaders of Tomorrow program with the RDU Black MBA Association. Her participation reflects her commitment to developing the next generation of leaders by creating opportunities for young people to share their ideas, sharpen their skills and recognize the power of their voices. Through mentorship, encouragement and constructive guidance, Dr. Pinkney continues to support emerging leaders as they prepare to lead with purpose and make a meaningful impact in their communities.

The Leadership Switch: From Boss Life to Soft Life
Through honest reflection, storytelling and practical strategies, Dr. Pinkney will help accomplished women explore how to move beyond achievement-driven leadership and create more relationship-centered lives.
Together, participants will consider how to:
• Leave “CEO mode” at the office
• Practice trust and vulnerability
• Create space for shared responsibility
• Lead with intention in both work and life
• Embrace softness without diminishing their strength
This workshop is not about becoming less ambitious, capable or powerful. It is about learning when to lead, when to release control and how to make room for deeper connection.
READY TO MAKE THE SWITCH?
Space is limited. Reserve your seat today.
Wellness is not limited to what happens in a coaching session. It shows up in how we lead, communicate, build relationships, respond to challenges, and care for ourselves and others. Every opportunity to share these tools creates the possibility for transformation that extends far beyond one person.
This is why B. Well continues to show up—in classrooms, conferences, workplaces, and communities—helping people live, love, and lead more consciously.
That is the work of B. Well.
Thank you for following this journey and allowing me to be part of yours.
With gratitude,
Adrianne
