Nia Freeman was born and raised in Metro-Atlanta. She is an intended Human Development and Family Sciences major at the University of Georgia. Her passion for understanding others and working with children and youth has inspired a career that involves therapy, non-profit work, and ministry. Nia shared:
"My experiences as a team captain, gymnastic/tumbling coach, camp counselor, and youth ministry leadership board member have helped me to discover my desire to work with young people and especially black youth. I aim to be physically active, spiritually faithful, and mentally healthy as I improve myself and hopefully set an example for others!"
