Yoga instructor & facilitator
Leah McPherson has an amazing story as her journey toward wellness involved transforming her body and restarting her life. Leah has lost over 70 pounds through yoga, veganism, and prioritizing her emotional health. "Choosing happiness and joy was the most important catalyst to my change!" She practices yoga throughout the Charlotte community and teaches at Johnson C. Smith University where she works as an Adjunct Professor. Leah enjoys working with young women and helping them improve their self-esteem. Her passion for helping people has lead her to teaching yoga to a variety of people including young adults to corporate employees. She enjoys working with girls of color and helping them improve their self-esteem. She says:
My father always told me "If you follow your passion you'll never work a day in your life." My mother showed me how to treat people and my brother showed me ultimate strength. I am honored that I was blessed with such a great family, mentors, and friends. They show me infinite possibility everyday. It would be selfish of me to not pass what was given to me on to others.
